A Gracious and Merciful God.

Neh. 9:16-20

We believe and teach that baptism is for believers only and is the immersion of the believer in water.  Baptism has no saving efficacy.  It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believerÂ’s faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior, picturing the believers death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus, the Bible teaches believers baptism only not infant baptism as practiced by some. (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 8:37-39; Romans 6:3-11; Ephesian 2:8-10)

We believe and teach that the observance of the LordÂ’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby believers memorialize the death of the Redeemer the Lord Jesus Christ and anticipate His second coming.  Salvation is solely by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, not in the taking of communion. (Matt. 26:18-30; I Cor. 11:23-34; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:3-7)
